“It was fantastic having such prestigious speakers amongst us and being so relaxed and cool about everything. I was also very impressed with their professionalism. I don't think I will ever forget the sight of Geo's magnificent headdress – simply awesome. Anne Hassett was beautiful and you only have to be in her presence for five minutes to feel she has been touched by angels. I loved Gary Mannion, he was young enough to be my son at only 20. I found him inspiring and I have heeded his words on ADHD and the use of Ritalin. On a lighter note the 'table tipping' night was brilliant… I've often wondered what this would be like but I certainly didn't expect to be laughing so much the tears were running down my face! Superb. The Druid Workshop with Philip was very evocative as we sat outside on tree stumps and started chanting. I felt as if I had done something similar at another time. The meditations proved to be insightful and it was great being able to share these with a partner and a good way to get to know people. Karen, it was an amazing weekend and thank you so much for putting it together. I have come away with a lot of food for thought. I am going to re-read the chapters concerning the people I met. In fact, I'll probably read it all again and again and I am avidly looking forward to the next one – book as well as Gathering!”
